over the weekend in both omi and alpha using only level 32 hideouts of my own i conducted a number of missions sending out spies and carrying out missions

in total i generated 96 spy reports

i spied from level 3 to level 32 hidouts towns

only 2 send spy missions failed .. they were earlier attempts and against level 32 hideouts .. i got spies into the towns later

even though they failed my spies were not caught and killed so doubtful they gave any information away

i found even against level 32 the most succesful combination was 3 spies with 9 decoys and sending several waves of this combination was able to get 18 spies into a level 32 hideout town

but the missions were too high percentage so did not attempt any missions i was able to recall my spies without getting caught using 9 to spy and 9 to decoy

i did successfully spy warehouse in a town with level 31 hideout using 9 to spy and 6 to decoy

in most towns with hideouts below level 25 i didnt need to use a decoy at all to get in just waves of 3 spies at a time to enter and missions varied using 3-5 to spy with 1-2 decoy but missions on towns with hideouts below level 18 i just used 3 spies no decoys to successfully spy warehouse

New Army lineup as follows
There is a change in the battlefield in this update. Depending on the town hall size, you can have a certain amount of units on the battlefield at any one time, same as before. But they’ve changed the size to accommodate the bigger town halls.

When attacking Town Hall Levels 1-4
Front Line: 3 Slots, each slot size is 30. So, 30 Hoplites or 10 Steam Giants each slot.
Long Range: 3 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 Archers and Slingers, 7 Sulphur Carabineers each slot.
Flanks: No Flanks at this size.
Artillery: 1 Slot, slot size of 30. So 7 of whatever artillery sent.
Bombardiers: 1 Slot, size of 10. 5 Bombardiers.
Gyrocopters: 1 Slot, Size of 10. 10 Gyrocopters.

Town Hall Levels 5-9
Front Line: 5 Slots, each slot size is 30. So, 30 Hoplites or 10 Steam Giants each slot.
Long Range: 5 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 Archers and Slingers, 7 Sulphur Carabineers each slot.
Flanks: 2 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 swordsmen or spearmen per slot.
Artillery: 2 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 7 of whatever artillery sent per slot.
Bombardiers: 1 Slot, size of 20. 10 Bombardiers.
Gyrocopters: 1 Slot, size of 20. 20 Gyrocopters.

Town Hall Levels 10-16
Front Line: 7 Slots, each slot size is 30. So, 30 Hoplites or 10 Steam Giants each slot.
Long Range: 7 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 Archers and Slingers, 7 Sulphur Carabineers each slot.
Flanks: 4 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 swordsmen or spearmen per slot.
Artillery: 3 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 7 of whatever artillery sent per slot.
Bombardiers: 1 Slot, size of 30. 15 Bombardiers.
Gyrocopters: 1 Slot, size of 30. 30 Gyrocopters.

Town Hall Levels 17-25
Front Line: 7 Slots, each slot size is 40. So that’s 13 Steam Giants or 40 Hoplites per slot.
Long Range: 7 Slots, each slot size is 40. So that’s 10 Marksmen or 40 Archers/Slingers per slot.
Flanks: 6 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 Swordsmen or Spearmen per slot.
Artillery: 4 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 7 artillery per slot.
Bombardiers: 2 Slots, each slot is 20. So 10 bombardiers per slot. (20 per round)
Gyrocopters: 2 Slots, each slot is 20. So 20 gyrocopters per slot. (40 per round)

Town Hall Levels 25 and Above
Front Line: 7 Slots, each slot size is 50. So that’s 16 Steam Giants or 50 Hoplites per slot.
Long Range: 7 Slots, each slot size is 50. So that’s 12 Marksmen or 50 Archers/Slingers per slot.
Flanks: 6 Slots, each slot size is 40. So that’s 40 Swordsmen or Spearmen per slot.
Artillery: 5 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 7 of whatever artillery per slot.
Bombardiers: 2 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 15 bombardiers per slot (30 each round)
Gyrocopters: 2 Slots, each slot size is 30. So 30 gyrocopters per slot (60 each round)

ARMY tip:

With the bigger fields, hops are going to be better than SGs.

50 hops have about the saME HP as 16 SGs, but 2x the armor (especially good if the enemy does not have high accuracy), and about 300 more damage.

Also, it will be good to take some spearmen now... you can support 4x the spears as swords, and that is 4x the spots, with the increase to 6 flank spots, that makes a difference. Allows you a couple rounds of spearmen absorbing sword damage before your own swords come out to play.
